AD Greenroof, LLC consulted for Schwickerts, Tecta America, for a new construction project in the Omaha, NE region. The roof was modified bitumen with the over burden installed at various soil depths. The two roofs cover over 2 acres of semi-intensive native plant material with sedum perimeter, making it a haven for pollinators. Ms. Durhman blogged about it on September 24 2014! AD Greenroof, LLC partnered with CEC, Inc to design and install a monitoring system that tracks the weather, temperature relationships, and hydraulic performance in St. Paul, MN, at the Penfield green roof, as well as a conventional EPDM ballast upper roof. We host a public website that automatically updates and reports high-level summary data. The website provides opportunities to download raw data from all of the sensors. We continue to monitor the performance in 2017 with assistance from Capitol Region Watershed District.

In 2006, The Metropolitan Council (Twin Cities region) installed a 1,800 sf green roof as a demonstration and trial project. It is on a building at their Farmington waste water treatment facility. In 2014, new funding was secured for routine maintenance provided by AD Greenroof, LLC. The owner recognizes the value of ongoing and regular maintenance, and has provided some additional funds for plant trials to increase diversity and new habitats for the regions birds and insects. The Met Council is a 2015 Environmental Award Finalist.
USPS: The US Postal Service- Morgan Processing Facility New York, NY explored a green roof by incorporating a semi-intensive design across 80,000 sf. It is currently being maintained and researched. Read about its energy savings.

St Paul Fire Station #1 & #10, St. Paul, MN requested an intensive garden above their parking garage to educate the general public and be an amenity space for the firestaff. It currently feeds them during the growing season utilizing a small, yet very productive, roof top farm. The 7,000 sf green roof is open by appointment. Watch the video here.
